SHIFTSPACE is a collective of architects and designers focused on creating physical environments that amplify brand stories and impart memorable interactions. The studio’s prowess in designing at scales large and small provide the tools to consider every detail and ensure that they define the whole brand. As a result, brands are able to extend into spatial experiences in natural, yet unexpected ways. The studio finds its strength in collaboration at all levels. As a multi-disciplinary creative team, the studio can plug into a brand’s brief to help create and deliver an agency’s vision, interface with an in-house team, or provide consultation.
The studio has been blending architectural space, public art, landscapes, and sustainability together with places and products since 2009.
Services: Architectural Branding, Identity Development, Placemaking, Activation, Environmental Design, Industrial Design, Experience Concepts
Founded by CEO Mario Gentile, SHIFTSPACE is re-imagining environments and tactile experiences through the creative direction of our multi-disciplinary design team. The creative team is led by Creative Director Tim Barnes who focuses on design that: promotes civic engagement; provides a positive ecological impact; and is honest in form, function, and material. Leveraging our experiences in architecture, landscape design, product design and fabrication the studio creates environments through the lens of sustainability.
